"After the market closed, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) reported its
second quarter results. The company announced an EPS of $11.62,
beating the consensus estimate of $10.18. Revenue of $45.65 billion
beat the consensus estimate of $45.53 billion. Shares were trading
higher by more than 7 percent to over $563 following the earnings
release. The company also announced a 7-for-1 stock split and
increased its dividend by eight percent, from $3.05 to $3.29 per share

Sprzedali 43.7 milionów iPhone w 1 kwartale tego roku, wyprzedzając
przewidywania Wall Street oczekujące sprzedaży 38 milionów:

"On Wednesday, Apple reported sales of 43.7 million iPhones in the quarter
ended March, far outpacing the roughly 38 million that Wall Street had
predicted. That drove a 4.6 percent rise in revenue to $45.6 billion - a
record for any non-holiday quarter - and beating Wall Street's projections
